Canadian RI Fundamentals

This course provides investment professionals with a working knowledge of Canada's responsible investment marketplace. Responsible investment (RI) refers to the incorporation of environmental, social and governance factors (ESG) into the selection and management of investments.

A growing body of evidence shows that incorporating ESG factors into the investment process can reduce risk and enhance long-term financial returns. As a result, demand for responsible investment is growing at a rapid pace.

This course will provide you with the knowledge you need to talk about responsible investment with your clients, and enable you to offer advice about responsible investment products and services in Canada.

The course is administered by the Responsible Investment Association and is eligible for five CE credit hours from IIROC, IAFE, FPSC and 5 PDU credit hours from CSF and IQPF.
